We won’t have a car. Will land at Charles de Galle and then I believe we can get the train there.
Please can I have your recommendations for a hotel on site ie right at Disneyland Paris- thanks.

We stayed in Seqoia in Summer 23. Just myself and DD who was 11 then. We both really liked it and I’m glad I chose a hotel in the park as was easy to walk back to or jump on the shuttle.

The pool was good on a hot day to cool off and the buffet breakfast had a good choice. I would recommend it.

This advice is great thank you!!
Just thought of one more question- if I book an on site hotel, is the day ticket (we would just be going a day or 2 days) included in the room price?
Thanks!

Yes - if you look in the website you will see it marked as a package eg 1 nights / 2 days.

It's quite user friendly and is very easy to compare hotels / dates to see best prices.

It is apparently cheaper to book via the Irish site although I didn't do that as I didn't know at time of booking.

Extras can be booked once you have paid full amount - they get booked up very early.

We did the Royal Banquet lunch and booked the priority area for fireworks. That was worth it as it got very crowded.

The parade I didn't felt needed it - we got a good view and didn't get there that early.

If your flight gets in later in the day some people also stay offsite night 1 and then book hotel for night 2 which gets them park entry for the 2 full days for 1 night rather than pay and only use a couple of hours of it on the first day.

Stayed in the Newport a couple of years ago. It was huge.

The dining room at breakfast time was crawling with absolutely feral children, barely under control. If we ever went again I’d go for one of the smaller ones…

re park tickets - 2 days was enough for us. We booked for 3 days so a 5 day/4 night stay was more than enough. Managed to do the shopping mall and outlet village with time to spare too.

We stayed at Cheyenne because the theming was a bit plainer than Sequoia which I wasn’t keen on. Newport Bay was a lot more expensive at the time but I may have picked it for the pool but it was being refurbished anyway. It was an easy walk, but the Marvel Hotel is even closer, right on the edge of the village. I personally wouldn’t stay at the Disneyland Hotel as even though the location is amazing I prefer the theming of the Marvel hotel.
