Boxing Day football - are you partaking or losing out to it today? Or ignoring it?!!

My knowledge of the sport is limited. All I know is that Leeds United are away at Stoke this evening. However, I am aware that Boxing Day is important for football and many fans and families. Are you one of those going to a match or waving others off to see them again in about twelve hours' time?

Very much partaking here. Season ticket holder for a non league team an hour away from where we live.
Get a bit annoyed though. Bumper crowd today yet where are all these people on a tuesday night in october when it’s blowing a gale and pissing down with rain?

I’m watching it. I’m a huge football fan. Probably go to the pub

I'm not fussed about it, it's our day with our in laws (my favourite day!) and BIL wanted to go to a game but is under strict instructions that he can't as he has to be available for his "lovely" step mother. To make it up to him, we got tickets for him and DS to see their team at the weekend Grin

I don’t do football aside from major cups ( world / euros) but I was watching cricket on Bt sport at 2 am .

Is there football today?

Dh is watching it later on kick-off at 8. I'm cooking leftovers and will then disappear into my headphones and my book.

Season ticket holder, with my adult son, but our game today is away and we couldn’t get tickets in the ballot so we’ll be watching on TV.
Quite annoying as we have to drive 70 miles for home games and today’s game is only 8 miles away.

DH and DS off to Southampton v West Ham which is at Southampton nr where we live, but they support West Ham so works out great for them. DH currently trying to wake DS up to have breakfast 😂

Came across this on social media. Definitely sums up my family. 2 of them are dressing up riding on reindeer outfits and 2 just have santa hats
