Exactly. I imagine that if it hadn't improved then she may have walked away from the film but the correct first step was to call out the behaviour with the Powers That Be and get measures put in place to stop it.

I would say that the texts contained within the NYT article opened the door for JB to throw his evidence out to the public too. BL seemed happy enough to let the court of public opinion decide so it only seems fair he has the same opportunity. Let's see what happens.

He's suing BL for 400 million and the NYT for 250 million.

The metadata from the NYT article seems to suggest the texts were in their system from the 31st October and photos from the 16th and 18th December. BL did not file her civil complaint until the 20th December, the article was published on the 21st.

I think it raises questions about who was really smearing who.
