Share your celebs out of context

Talking to DH about all the celebs we’ve seen out of context and there’s so many that thinking it’s not that novel. eg seen Phil Tuffnel, but that was at Lords so doesn’t count. Seen loads of celebs as part of work (stood next to Stephen Fry in the wings for example) so that doesn’t count either.

But out of their usual context:

Frankie and Wayne Bridge at the trampoline park with their kids

Alan Rickman - our school sat behind him in the audience of a theatre show, yes we were HP fan-age, no we weren’t subtle, sure it was probably 🙄 for him 😄

Sat next to the guy who plays Jason in Gavin & Stacey at the theatre

Also sat next to Dom Joly at the theatre but didn’t recognise him (who is he?!) DH did though

James Cordon walking along the road

Share yours if you have nothing better to do on Xmas eve 😁

Rob Brydon out walking his puppy. I saw the puppy said hello to it and was then mortified when I realised whose she was!

Stanley Tucci watching the panto last week. Paul Whitehouse and his wife sat in front of me in the theatre last week also! Isla Fisher in Paul’s buying a tart she is so natural looking and still looks the same age as she did twenty years ago.

Denise Lewis yesterday at the cinema. She was taking her kids to Sonic 3, whilst we went to Mufasa. She knew that I knew and we had a quick knowing exchange of the smile of understanding and went about our business.

Of all the celebrities it's funny how two of us have posted about Terry Nutkins at the same time!

Paddy from Emmerdale paying for fuel in a petrol station in Alcester.

Robert Plant at the seaside

PJ and Spencer from BB3 not long after the series had finished in a hotel in Inverary. Apparently they were there to escape the chaos.

Mark Owen wandering into the cinema. He was watching the new (at the time) Mad Max film. I was very excited but kept my distance

Brian Ferry with his wife and kids at a country pub years ago.

Cliff Richard and Van Morrison walking down a side street in Dublin, deep in conversation.

Mine are a bit shit!

I used to work in a bakery in Basingstoke and one of the gladiators was a regular as she was local (I think Falcon?) Also Liz Hurleys dad was a regular as they're local too!

Went out in Liverpool when my sister lived there and saw most of the cast of brookside and hollyoaks at various clubs and bars but apparently that was quite a common occurrence at the time (late 90s)

Also saw Chris Tarrant and Jade Goody (separately) at airports in early 2000s

My DH saw Mike from "the streets" at an airport years ago and had a nice chat. He reportedly said "oh you're Mike from the streets" as an opener lol

My DSIS served Terry Wogan at a wedding as said he had stumpy sausage fingers.

Mine are all so long ago. I never go anywhere now. Working in a school there's not much scope.

Oh actually Gillian Keegan came to our school last year to launch apprenticeships. Most staff carefully avoided her for fear of getting the sack for saying what we think about the education system currently! But that's more of an in context situation and she's definitely not a celebrity.....not even well loved or respected in my circles!

Johnny vegas walking down the street in a very non-celebrity part of London- I think. I peered at him in that “is that you?” Kind of way and he scowled at me like “what are you looking at?”
