  1. I want a Christmas tree with tinsel on it. This time of year is not about being elegant and classy. It's about fun and joy, and that's what tinsel on a tree does for me.
  1. Christmas stockings should be hung with the toe pointing to the left. They look wrong facing the other direction. I didn't realise that I had strong opinions on this until today.

Tell me what your Christmas opinions are!

Sorry no. Definitely before lunch.
Then after lunch we play board games.

Ah never mind. Was so close to a perfect Christmas 😂

Christmas is about the season, not just the day. Often the festive traditions in the run up are more enjoyable than the day itself.

Christmas Eve boxes should get in the bin.

Also IMO the elf is a great concept and so much fun for children ❤️

Have to disagree. I have been fixing loose screws in pairs of glasses with a tiny screwdriver I got in a cracker years ago.

Most useful thing I got that Xmas.

I think crackers are very under-rated too.

I have a small lipstick holder with a tiny mirror inside which I've had for years. Plus another year I got a really nice sewing kit which I keep in my work bag.

i know the hats and jokes are pretty insufferable, and someone probably had to pay £40 for the crackers with my lipstick holder in, but they are fun!

Christmas dinner is boring and should be got over with the Sunday before Christmas so that more fun snacky foods can be eaten on Xmas day after a full English fry up.

Nah!

Christmas dinner with as many trimmings as possible, laden, fully set table, including napkins, greenery, lit candles and crackers is the best meal of the whole year.
