What do you use at work to keep on top of your to do list?

I have started a new job and it's very much juggling a lot of plates at once. It's manageable but Im used to just taking inbound calls or having short tasks.

I'm writing notes on pieces of paper but I need something more structured.

Is there anything online that would help me to write down tasks, what actions I need to do etc?

I use this from Wilko - I really like it as you can plan tasks going forward

I flag unactioned emails, which automatically puts them in the To Do list, which you can also add to directly.

Really bugs me when people don't manage their email responses.

I use Trello, which I find useful for organising my thoughts and prioritising.

For urgent must do today tasks, I still use a notebook and pen on my desk. I like to be able to see them right in front of me all the time.

Can't stand OneNote. It's not user friendly at all.

My inbox is divided into folders and subfolders pretty ruthlessly? Every few weeks/month I make sure I get my inbox down to zero with everything in its correct folder.

There's also a shared inbox where things are colourcoded.

I have an Excell Gantt chart, different sections of my work have a different Gantt chart and then this week's tasks go in the front page, Priorities page and moved to their proper page once complete that way I know exactly where I am for everything.

I used a tutorial on YouTube to make the first one

A5 spiral bound notebook I keep with my laptop. I highlight anything that needs prioritising and chip away at everything else as and when. I use a hairband too to keep any printouts tucked in the pages so they're close at hand when I need them. I like physically ticking things off.

An A4 day book

I'm a PM so use lots of those kinds of tools. For reminders to myself I send myself Teams messages and delete them when done

I send emails to myself and then use the category tool on outlook to name and colour each one depending on the urgency. I then have my emails in category order so they all group together. Then delete the email when I've completed the task. Satisfying 👍🏼

I use Monday - it’s a project management app, we have a business version as 5 of us use it, but you can use it stand alone for free.

Have also used Trello and Asana in the past.

I always work on the basis of if I get hit by a bus one of my colleagues needs to be able to pick up my tasks. So I use the computer program we have. Tasks are attached to each case.

We have a project management system plus i pit things in outlook calendar and also each project has a digital action list.
however i have a paper A4 weekly pad that i use.
each friday i write in the next weeks tasks and actions. Cross them off as they get done and add in stuff as it comes up.
