What could I put in front of these concrete blocks to disguise them?

(photo attached) just looking for ideas as to what I could put in front of these concrete slabs as they look very unsightly.
I was thinking some long planters that I could put flowers in but would they stay in the grass?
I would want ones that wouldn't blow over.
Going to put this in the DIY forum as well but thought I would ask here too as it gets more traffic. Thank you!

You could run a length of Cedral Weatherboard, concrete, available in a number of colours - just search on Cedral, it is a trade name

Planters either side and make a step in the middle.

Paint them. It will need doing every 6 months or so but it’s a quick job.

Or if budget allows build a bit of decking around it.

Thinhair88 · 18/12/2024 15:20

Or put some plants in. Some slow growing evergreen hedges.

@Thinhair88 thanks, I thought about painting them actually, but wasn't sure if you can even paint concrete blocks? What colour would you recommend?

Long plank of wood nailed to the wood above.

TBH it does not like you prepared the ground underneath them. So there is a half decent chance they will just sink into the mud with the weight of all the stuff in the shed. Problem solved.

What sort of base are those breeze blocks sitting on?
This looks like a weighty shed that’s been plonked without much thought!!

Thanks, yeah the guys that did it dug the grass out till they got to the solid part underneath and then put the concrete blocks in. Time will tell anyway! If it does sink, I will be ringing them back up!

I guess if the thing is based on clay then you have a fighting chance.

My back garden is clay and it is rock solid with some topsoil that has been plonked on to cover it. If yours is the same you might stand a chance.
