Child temp

If you had plans to go out for a couple of hours in the evening and your 5 year old had a temp of 37.3 and cold symptoms (not severe) would you still go?
The babysitter is a neighbour, not wanting to pass germs on but I'm prone to overreact so getting a sense check

Yes. 37.3 isn’t a high temperature. You could say they have the sniffles but if that’s all it’s probably not worth mentioning

I've just been and spoken to the neighbour so they know the situation and they've said go out, it's fine.
It's the third time my partner and I have been out in four years, otherwise I wouldn't have probably hesitated to stay home

Well we went and all was well. My neighbour was fantastic, I said there may be germs here and she said don't worry they're everywhere Grin
Thanks for the replies, the common sense advice does help a lot

Aw that’s good. It’s good to have some adult time to recharge your batteries and feel normal again!!
