My son is 14 and
Has ASD. He's obsessed with marble runs
And loves building them
And watching YouTube videos.

Is there anyone around who can offer resources to buy runs or even something similar please. Tia

Has he tried Gravitrax hours of fun!

Have you seen the Lego marble run?

Is he into the runs or the marbles too? Watching marbles being made is fun and usually those places have such variety of marbles for sale/have an impressive marble run of their own on display.

Marble run fans here as well!

Gravitrax is great and you can get various expansion packs.

Is your son into marble racing at all? We've seen some marble racing sets online (rather than Marble runs) although not as easy to get in the Uk.

Our DC loves Marbula One on YouTube - you can get merchandise for the different teams etc.

You can get a magnetic one that sticks to the fridge as well. It’s ace.

Ebay and Facebook marketplace to buy them?

We had Quadrilla marble run which had all sorts of quirky blocks which sent the marbles in different directions, and a cool spirally bit

Our ASC daughter loves the gravîtes sets, because there’s so many different expansion packs.

My 13 year old loves hers from National Geographic - she has a large whiteboard to magnetise it to... there's a definite knack to it. She is autistic fwiw so maybe similar in terms of levels of engagement as your son - I think a lot of 13 year olds would get bored as it is fiddly.

If you're anywhere near, Ilkeston Museum have a great range of marbles for sale... in fact, lots of museum gift shops do.

He really didn't take to the gravitrax. We had a couple of the sets but he never liked it. He loved the Galt marble runs and the national geographic ones.

I will look at the other brands. He loves the YouTube videos. I didn't realise you could get merch! Thanks x

What do you mean by offer resources?

Look on Vinted, eBay, and Facebook marketplace for cheap sets. If you still have the gravitrax sets sell them and use the money towards new sets.

How about Turing tumble? We are getting some this year for our children with ASC as they love a marble run
