Help! We need to invent a reason why the bloody elf isn’t here tonight!

DSS8 has bounded in tonight after school after being at mums all week, excitedly wondering what the elf will get up to here in the morning…elf however is currently at the other side of town at DSS mums. I’d have sent DH to Tesco for a replacement but we’ve demolished half a bottle of Baileys while putting up the Christmas tree tonight!

Anyone have any urgent ideas r.e why elf isn’t here this weekend….

Does his Mum have Bailey's? If so, would she show the elf off his creepy little face on a large glass of it? So tomorrow, he'll be nursing a hangover and reporting to the police station for being drunk and disorderly - that ought to take up most of the weekend.

Get the person who had the elf to send a picture or video of the elf doing something daft, maybe with a note saying he's escaped and he's bringing an elf treat back tomorrow!
