Pants and socks that are still in really good condition but your children have grown out of? Do charity shops take them? I cant imagine anyone buying them...

I used to give ti school for "accidents" but now children are older it's not needed.

Primark have a recycle bin for this in-store. They take any textiles, in any brand and any condition.

LigamentBandy · 04/12/2024 14:05

#primark has a green washing bin

@Acunningruse you can send to charity shop, probably sent to rag, I do see children's pants and socks offered on olio, part of me thinks great idea part of me thinks who knows what the person collecting is doing with your child's old underwear.

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 04/12/2024 14:10

I bin them. I have seen them for sale on vinted but that is just all kinds of gross.

Crunchymum · 04/12/2024 14:22

H&M also have the textile recycle bins.

reluctantbrit · 04/12/2024 14:31

We have collection bins for clothes not designed for sale or charity shops, they accept underwear and socks as these together with torn and stained items will end up in rag factories.

My kids school is always needing them as spares.
