I did put this in history, but then looked and it doesn't seem to be visited very often.
It's a bit random, but worth a shot.
Can anyone please help identify/age this horseshoe? We found it whilst gardening. House was built early 1920's, semi-rural Northumberland. General area does have significant Roman history and known first house built in the nearby area was 1700's. Local area (within 2 miles) does have churches built in around the 9th century.
Horseshoe is quite small, can't see any visible nail holes but it is quite eroded, so may be there underneath.
