Mattress topper. Are they any good ?

Ds said his mattress is uncomfortable i can't get him a new one just yet . I was going to get him a mattress topper but im not sure if they are any good.

I read they are like a thick duvet?

they can be good for adding comfort, like a thick duvet for the mattress, but it really depends on the material. if you get one that’s breathable and designed to block dust mites it can help with allergies too, not just the lumpy mattress. definitely worth checking the covers and washing instructions as well

I don’t like the memory foam ones, they were too hard and made me hot

like PP I’ve got a silent night airflow and love it. I got the thickest one I could. Only thing is I now need to buy extra height fitted sheets

Get a 10cm one or a memory foam one. Thin ones are not so good.

I’ve got a Panda memory foam one. It’s amazingly good. I did have one of the thick duvet ones before that but this is better.

Me too. It’s brilliant. Wouldn’t be good for a hot person though I don’t think.

Give it a try. I've got the duvet type topper and I love it . It cost about £21 from Amazon. Worth ever penny, and not too hot.
