Hi all - after some advice on feeling overstimulated/brain fog. I’m 33 with a 3 year old and work part time. I feel like my brain has about 100 tabs open at all times, cant concentrate on anything and feel constantly aggy. In the new year i am hoping to start getting into a fitness routine to see if helps.

i felt this triggerrd when i lost my dad when i was 7 months pregnant and feel like my brain hasnt been the same since!

any advice greatly appreciated.

Do you have the opportunity to spend some time with nature - forest, parks by a river, coast- anything like that? It might sound a bit twee but it can do wonders. Obviously you get some exercise and fresh air which help clear the fog but there is something exceptionally soothing and nurturing about greenery and water.

Yes to exercise. Running is great for the head.

ADHD springs to mind OP. Could that be a possibility?

Bereavement, especially at a time of other big changes like becoming a parent, can do this. You may not have had time to process you loss. It's unlikely to be adhd if you had no signs beforehand.

Hi all - no signs of these symptoms before losing my dad and having my daughter. I thought it would pass but been 3 years now. I am currently awaiting sinus surgery to help with my breathing so am hoping to start my fitness journey after that - i do always feel better after being outside and think i need to take advantage of that! Just hard when i dont have the motivation but that has to stop
