What type of duvet/blanket is very light but warm?

I find that my 13.5 microfibre double duvet too heavy for me. I tend to move/fidget around a lot in bed and also whilst sleeping, especially around the leg area. I find 10.5 not warm enough during the winter months so that isn't an option.

I just got a really cheap duvet from Asda, the cheapest they do and its really thin but I have found it to be very warm

i love wool duvets - light, warm in winter but cool in summer and allergy free.

Not helpful but this is baffling to me- I'd like a heavy one for summer that isn't warm!

Down/feather is much lighter but warmer. Lots of people don't like them for ethical reasons or allergies, though.

Some filling and covers are more heavier then others. I’ve got one from Dorma and absolutely couldn’t sleep under it so heavy it was. The same 10.5 cotton cover hypoallergenic filling duvet from JLewis was way lighter and fine.

Down is very light and warm. Feather is warm but heavy.

You could try a silk sheet over you. Silk is great for keeping you warm with a light layer.

I got a Soak and Sleep synthetic duvet which was just too hot for me. It was very light and bouncy, almost “rubbery”.

I bought it to go with some 140cm wide duvet covers as my 150 IKEA ones were bunching to one side.
It got donated as I prefer some weight and drape.

Those coverless duvets are very warm but also very light because you need to get them in the machine. I had a 143.5 tog one, and it was light as a feather. But, most of them are polyester, so if that's not your think, might not be suitable.

Down duvets are light and warm. I have a lighter one that attaches to a heavier one for winter.

Not ethical choice but goosedown and feather duvet. Light and really warm at 10.5 tog. I have the fogarty 3 season one, the 4.5 tog is warm enough March to Oct.

This was the type I bought: www.soakandsleep.com/supremely-soft-as-down-duvet.html
