Does anybody know the etiquette for accepting an offer on Vinted subsequent to already accepting an offer?

Last Sunday (24th) I found I'd been made an offer on Vinted for an item. I accepted the offer but have heard nothing since.
The offer was made late on Saturday night so I thought maybe it was a bit of drunk scrolling and whoever it was has changed their mind.
I didn't want to hassle them by emailing, so just left it.
Today I received a further offer from a different member which is £1 more.
I accepted that but am now - probably stupidly - worrying that I should have got in touch with the 1st person to check they didn't want it.
I presume I'm just over-thinking this...?

Overthinking. Accept the new offer 👍🏻
people often make random offers with no intention of actually following through!

They didn’t buy the item. This comes under ‘you snooze you lose’. You’re fine to accept the other offer.

Agree with 'you snooze you lose' ~ what would have happened if they paid the listed price? You wouldn't have had a say over it then!

Don’t worry, OP. When your offer gets accepted, you have to buy immediately or you risk it being sold. Don’t give it a second thought.

Some people make offers on lots of the same items and accept the one who will let them have it the lowest and follow through and check out.

Others have a stroll and make an offer on a few things that take their fancy at the same time and if it comes back as accepted during the time they're browsing then they may check out but if it's not or is accepted later then they have changed their mind or they've bought something else in the mean time.

There is no real etiquette. Accepting an offer isn't a binding contract where they have to check out, nor does it mean they have a reserve on it.

It's first come first served. Someone may come along and buy it full price whilst the person with the offer is waiting for a reply from the seller or whilst someone else is trying to check out with it.

Offers aren't a commitment from either the buyer or the seller on Vinted - the item is available until it sells. Accept as many as you like!

Brilliant!
Many thanks for all your answers, I feel a lot better now.
I'm fairly new to Vinted and do tend to overthink things. Just didn't want to get into some online argument.
Flowers , Wine and Cake (hope I've covered all tastes) all round!
