Got a labrador and spend my life brushing and vacuuming. Not in the UK and my floors are tile with rugs.
Would a robot vacuum cope ?

Not really. I have a golden retriever and a robot vacuum. They have very small dust compartments so you are constantly emptying and detangling hairs from the brushes. Having said that, mine is getting on for 20 years old so the newer models may be much better.

Any Eufy. I have a husky Cross, and used to have a Romanian with a similarly complex coat and a long haired cat. I empty it daily and it saves my sanity.

@JurassicPark4Eva thats encouraging, are your ddogs double coated ?

Very much so. Think huskies crossed with collies, so the worst of both worlds. The sheer volume of shedding we dela with, even with the loss of the blonde dog and the long haired cat is appalling.

We have a eufy, I think its the x10 Pro. It vacuums and also mops. It lifts itself onto rugs and avoids toys/dog poo etc on the floor (not that it has happened!) Our dog doesn't moult, but I do! I have long, thick hair and even though I'm not brushing it all around the house, it seems to find its way to every corner!

@JC03745 thank you.

I have a Roomba, and it empties itself and deals with dog/cat/my very long hairs really well.
If its taken upstairs to deal with under the beds it does take longer as it keeps having to go back to its base station and empty, but a small price to pay for dealing with the hair balls that form there

I bought a cylinder vac and used to hoover the dog twice a day, it was a game changer.
