Our five year old has been picky about food since around age 2 (before that she seemed to eat almost anything).
I sort of feel that it's in the "annoying but not harmful" category. She does occasionally add new foods that she likes, or has a try of something and decides she doesn't like it. I just don't want to pressure her or make mealtimes unpleasant, because I honestly find the moaning more irritating than the refusal.
But some people in our family think I'm not doing enough to turn it around, as it's lasted so long.
Any ideas?

She basically doesn't like most veg, most forms of meat/fish, eggs in any form, and also doesn't really like sweets or cake. She also doesn't like mixed things like curry, chili, Bolognese, and so on.
It's boring but does it really matter? Any ideas?
