What will everyone genuinely enjoy- teens who would opt for horror given the choice, parents and tweens who think they are grown up but really aren’t!

Jingle Jangle if you're after a bit of Christmas. About jeronicus Jangle and inventor. Really just a fun movie. Reminded me of Charlie and the chocolate factory, without the chocolate, in terms of just a fun watch.

Midnight in Paris
Last Christmas

We really enjoyed showing our kids Clockwise with John Cleese recently. Still made me laugh and the 80s nostalgia factor added a new dimension for me.

Short Circuit
War Games
Back to the Future
Ferris, as others have said

Our 13 year old loved Hot Fuzz and the Monty Python films. We don't mind a few swears.

MothralovesGojira · 23/11/2024 18:55

The Goonies
The Princess Bride
Back to the Future
Legend - the Tom Cruise 1980's one & not Tom Hardy Kray twins one
Labyrinth

I make no apologies that they're all 80's ones but after Jurassic Park in the early 90's they stopped making decent family films!

Airplane
Chicken Run

How young are the tweens? Rat Race went down well last year for ages 10-70+.

I think it's a 12 in the UK. There's some cussing (the F word crops up once or twice) and a bit of innuendo, but this went over the younger viewers' heads.
