Can anyone who has been recently, please let me know how it works?

Do you pay an entry fee and then pay separately for rides and ice skating? Do you need to book the ice skating? Do you pay / book online?

Been roped into this by the teens for a Christmas outing, and know it's expensive but want to get the most out of it if possible!

Thanks

The website has all the info.

You have to book an entry ticket. The price varies depending on the day and time. Off Peak tickets are free.

You need to book and pay for ice skating and other activities in advance. You book some rides (eg the wheel) online too.

There are some fairground rides (mostly for children) and games (eg shooting range) that you pay for with tokens or contactless.

I agree with PP - use the website. I make a deal of going through it with DS/deciding what to do and booking. That way there are no nasty big last minute surprises, and you know you'll get on the rides you want.

I make sure we eat before we get there, and then normally spend £15ish per person on snacks (CHURROS!)/hot chocolate. If you're taking teens maybe give this to them up front with a 'when it's gone, it's gone' kinda rule so it doesn't end up a bottomless pit 😂
