I live in an old house that is not insulated. I am not a stranger to condensation. It wasn't too bad on my bedroom window over the past few weeks but I woke this morning and it was so bad. I am horrified.
It's a retanglur shaped window with a square window that opens. The window is double glazed except for the square window because that fell off it's hinges a few years ago and there's only one pane of glass there.
Do you think that's what's causing all the moisture in my room. I don't dry clothes in my room. I can't think of anything else. I have tubs of kitty litter on the windowsill because apparently that is supposed to absorb moisture. I had the dehumidifier running all night too. It's an Amazon budget dehumidifier so I don't know if it's working for what I have.
As I look now I still have the dehumidifier running and the square window is wet again even though I wiped it with tissue this morning.
I think we are due a cold snap too so maybe this might get worse.
I was horrified with the amount of moisture that build up in my room.
