Where would it be and what would your dream house be like?

For me it would be a 3 (ish) bedroom cottage with direct private access onto the New Forest with field space/stabling for a couple of ponies. It would have a garden studio for my art and hobbies as well. Quiet, no neighbours, just lots of wildlife. But also not too far from a supermarket!

Nothing too big and fancy but the direct access to the forest would cost a fortune!

One of those fantasy houses that pop up on fb, with views and direct access to clear blue water where i could swim every day

A terraced house in Chelsea - overlooking a garden square ideally but those the
tend to be too many floors! So I'd 'settle' for a three bed off Kings Rd. Cosy yet surprisingly spacious and a walled garden. I'd want some eccentric arty/literary neighbours with the gay couple up the road hosting an annual Christmas or New Year's party, everyone invited. An elderly gentleman/lady who has been there for decades and full of fascinating stories. A few interesting families either barely getting food on the table or as rich as the king. A lovely cosy cafe at the end of the street that always has a table available with lovely coffee and delicious food. Hosted by a family team who always keep a cinnamon bun back for the old gent who comes in daily. The postman is the same guy who was there 25 years ago and always has a bit of gossip to spread. Everyone knows everyone but respect your privacy. The grumpy old man at the end has finally left this mortal coil and a new couple have moved in that rumour has it are in the movie business. A few celebrity spottings! There's always magically a car space in from of the house, partially as you never really need to use the car and are regularly debating with yourself if you should get rid of it. The street is surprisingly quiet considering the hustle and bustle of the Kings Rd just around the corner. Love it love it!
