I work in a sector that is getting some money back in April however I have no idea how to work out what I'll get. Would anyone like to help? Basically it's £2500 for anyone full time and working 52 weeks per year.

I am 30 hr contract and I work term time so approx 42 weeks per year.

Any idea as a guess what I might get

Divide 2500 by 52 then multiply by 42? Works out about £2019

So you work 30 hours, 42 weeks a year? Is 30 the full time contract hours for a week or is it more? If it is then the approach above works but if it’s more you need to account for that. Says it’s 37hours a week full time then you need to do (30/37) (42/52) 2500

37 is I believe the full time
Hours. I've never been good with working stuff out

Oh I used “*” for the multiplications and it’s formatted as bold instead! You need to multiple between the brackets (30/37) x (42/52) x 2500.
its roughly £1600

If you divide £2500 by the full time hours (37 x 52) you get £1.299 per hour.
Times £1.299 by (30 x 42) you get £1636.74
