A massive long shot but does anyone remember this kids book from the 80s?

It was a book about a little boy and his teddy bear and what they got up to during the day.

The main thing I remember was that instead of drawings the pictures were all photographs and the bear was a small knitted brown one, whose name I think began with a B.

This was during the late 80s and I think I used to get it out during every other visit to the library (take it back one week and get it out the next). I can vividly remember my mum pleading with me once to get any other book out as she was fed up of reading it and we both knew it backwards anyway but I was resolute.

So annoying because I was utterly obsessed with it but now can't remember the name and Google isn't being any help.

🤣🤣 when she'd recovered from the vapours she did also say that she was pleased I'd managed to track it down because although she hated it she loved how happy it made me. So give it the best part of 4 decades and Fireman Sam might have lost his edge!

I thought I was the only person in the world who remembers Teddy Edwards. I can still remember thee theme tune from the TV series. Doo doot doot doo, doot doot doo, doot doot doot doo doo...........

It's been 20 years, and I can still quote big chunks of it!
The nightly tears when Scar killed Mufasa when we read The Lion King were an experience, too. Every single night. For over a year.
Ooh, and the Postman Pat one where for some reason he's swimming in his pants.

I find myself quoting one particular part from a Tisie and Jim video.

‘I’m a tree, I’m a tree’ as they get caught up in a branch outside. Not sure why that sticks with me.

I also remember Teddy Edward’s.

was partial to a bit of Postman Pat but I certainly don't remember that. Hope he finished his round first.

There was one called something like teddy Ruxbin (but not that I don’t think

I will have to see if we still have it somewhere, or ask my eldest what it was called.

😭😭 So near and yet so far. I have emailed to say I'm happy to rebuy it even in damaged condition but it's not looking good.

I've had a look around but apart from a copy in America for £50 😮 Bobo is a hard man to track down. If anyone does manage to fall over him in some corner of the internet that I've managed to miss them please let me know.

At least I know who I'm looking for now. I can stop putting knitted bear. Little boy. Blue cover. Children's book into Google and getting bugger all back!

The price might go up now so many mumsnetters are searching for it!
