There are so many. Why is this so hard? Bonus points if it goes in the dishwasher. And it's for me not DC so no mermaids or dinosaurs. I struggle enough to look presentable at work as it is.

Can I just remind you to use the straw cover when you're home. A child was recently bitten by a spider which had crawled down the straw.

I have this one which I think meets your requirements. I've had it well over a year, probably two by now and it's no worse for wear apart from losing the logo (and I keep it in a cup holder on my wheelchair so it's always getting bashed about). On offer atm too for a few quid. Especially like that the straw is angled, a lot of cheaper ones aren't and it stops the water coming up. And that it's all clear and the straw is detachable so you can clean it with a bottle brush.

SHO. Not cheap but very happy with it. Only one I found that is 900ml or more and stainless steel with a straw.

These super sparrow bottles are the best! Keeps drinks cold in the summer, take a battering, spare lids, can order spare parts, no plasticy taste. Loads of kids at our school use them so now we all have one each in our house. Love them! Reasonable price too.

I have bought two for £12 Asda water bottles with straws.

I got one this same as this but a different (more subtle) pattern from smiths.

I use these super sparrow ones (family of 5 use them)

They are really good, can choose the size you want. They stay cold all day long and have never leaked. My son would go through water bottles at least every week sometimes every couple of days. These have lasted a year so far

At this stage I'm fairly sure they're indestructible. We all have them in our house including my 6 year old who drops it about 10x a day. I think my 750ml bottle is about 40 quid to buy now, but I've had it for years. I was using it in hospital when I had DC and had it a while before that, so its 7+ years old now and still as good as the day I bought it

but brilliant and the straw comes out for cleaning. One of them came with a straw cleaner too.
