What's your coffee shop order?

I'm not really a hot drink drinker but will have one if meeting a friend in town.
Mine's a latte with coconut milk.

What's yours?

Skimmed latte

Nice large hot choccy with Cream ,marshmallows, and a sprinkle of hot choc. No Im not on a diet!

The last time I was in a coffee shop was about five years ago when I asked for a filter coffee with a dash of milk. I got a blank look and had to settle for something called a flat white. It wasn’t the same thing at all.

Usually a white Americano as that’s the closest I can get to a filter coffee when out. Always a small otherwise I get totally wired followed by a 3pm slump.

In the Winter months - chai tea latte. Like receiving a big hug from someone you like.

Americano with milk. Don't like very milky coffee.

Large skinny Cappuccino

A one shot, oat milk latte with hazelnut syrup.

A hazelnut latte with almond milk or oat milk

Decaf Americano with soya milk if I fancy coffee, but usually I'll have tea (English Breakfast or Early Grey with a splash of soy milk or something fancier without milk if they have a wide tea selection).

Decaff Americano with oat milk.

Pistachio flat white or pistachio latte is 10/10

Flat white. Unless I'm in Costa where it will be a cortado as they don't appear to know what a flat white is.

Can't have the seasonal specials as they are far too sweet for me.

I like a flat white in a proper coffee shop, I avoid Costa, Starbucks etc because they just make small lattes and call them flat whites.
I am also partial to a chai latte from the café near my office

Regular milk or oat depending on what I fancy

If it is a good, proper coffee shop then a flat white or mocha. If its a Starbucks type place and I am there for sugary caffeine I go with a mocha or a similarly syrupy drink.

Hot chocolate. I can't stand coffee.

Americano, drop of cold skimmed milk, barely enough to change the colour. Occasionally a double espresso. Never anything milky or with any kind of syrup or flavouring.

Skinny latte or skinny flat white

Our lovely local cafe does a black forest hot chocolate it is so good and 2 free home made shortbread biscuits with every hot drink.

I'm sat in Starbucks at the moment having finished work and hour earlier with a lovely caramel machiato much needed after a long stressful night with my little one.

Starbucks - brown sugar oat shaken espresso, I'm obsessed

Everywhere else - oat latte, maybe a vanilla oat latte if I need a sugar hit

The largest cappuccino the shop serves with an extra shot of espresso if that's an option. I live on caffeine 😁
