Is your SM so full of algorithm content, you don't bother?

I'm really old- 🤭 but I'm finding I bother less and less with my SM engagement because it is overwhelmed with algorithm generated nonsense? Much of it, could I say, click-baity hatey stuff?

Might this backfire on these platforms? I'm aware 'middle aged woman' is not their core, but do they really not care about our traffic?

There has been a noticeable increase over the past couple of months. I reckon it will reach tipping point next year, and Twitter will start to seriously decline.

Yes, Facebook is ridiculous these days. I never see my actual friends posts (although people are using it significantly less than we used to imo)

I only keep it because of the groups that I'm in- two friendship groups, a school mums group, and useful local groups.
