Good Morning All! What are you all up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day, in my kitchen spot. Kittens have been fed (by me, again!) and seem to have gone back to bed. There's only me up so I'm going to enjoy the quiet for an hour.

The kitchen needs a bit of a tidy round this morning & some pots washed, and I have a load of tea towels & cleaning cloths in the washer that I want some of for today.

My plan for today is bake the third christmas cake, clean the arms of the sofa and chair with upholstery foam, and wash the living room curtains. We need food for the kittens too so I'll drag one or other of the girls to Asda to see if they do bigger boxes than Lidl.

That little lot won't take long so I plan to spend the majority of the rest of the day assembling the crochet pug and sausage dog - I really need to finish them but didn't manage last night because I was tired.

Roast chicken for tea, with roast spuds, veg and Yorkshire puds. Finished off with something sweet but not sure what yet 😋

Tonight it'll be my usual Self-Care-Sunday scrubby everything shower, a face mask and maybe a hair mask if I have any left, any last bits of the crochet dogs, and an early night ready for work tomorrow 💤

Good afternoon @lucysmam & everyone. Not sure how it’s got to 12.30! Had a bit of a lie in & made a cuppa for me & DH (I may have sneaked a Mr Kipling frosted fancy whilst I was downstairs). Had a shower & blowdried my hair which I haven’t done in months ( the blow drying not the shower 🤣) There’s a load of washing in with more to do, including DD’s disgusting bedding, and a basketful to hang out if it stays dry. The dishwasher is on & I need to prepare the veg for tea (steak & gravy pies, double cream mash, carrots, peas & gravy yum). I was supposed to be sitting with DM this afternoon whilst DF played golf but she’s not well enough to be left so I’ll probably do some cleaning & decluttering. Still have a boot full of stuff to take to the charity shop.

Got up a bit later this morning as didn't sleep too well.
I'm still not feeling to well so having an easy day.
It's a drizzly day here so all cats are in and sleeping.
I've put beef joint in the oven, DH is going to cook the rest of the roast dinner.
DH got me some roses earlier so have put them in a vase, I may need to rethink where I have put them as the kitten may attack them, we shall see.
Both DC just doing their own things.
I need to make some pasta for both DC lunches for the week, also sort out work things ready.
I then plan on washing my hair then having a nice long bath

Good afternoon, I hope everyones day is still going to plan.

My husbands taken the kids to visit his cousin today so I’m home alone, well, the cat and dog are following me around. So I’m having the luxury of a very lazy day, I catch up on strictly in the bath of course, I’ve taken the dog on a run and now we’re going to start tea so when they get home I can just do the last minute bits to get it ready.

Was planning on having a chill but started out clearing under the bed...OMG the dust

Afternoon. Did some lesson prep, walked into town to.get a sink strainer then more lesson prep. Off to fetch petrol then make some doup, do ironing and chill.

Can I have the recipe for doup please 🙃

I am reading my book about Margaret Tudor quietly. My husband is reading aloud to me bits of his cricket book which he-mistakenly-thinks I will find interesting or funny.

Soup recommendation for Standing side by side.I have a soup maker. I throw in stick of celery, 2 chicken stock pots, half pack smoked bacon, a few red lentils, an onion, carrot and some pre vhopped butternut squash and sweet potato. Can recommend a soup maker

😂😂😂 everything must be destroyed.
They have survived so far, but kitten has mostly been asleep upstairs.
Next month when we put the Christmas tree up I just know the tree won't survive until January
