Boyfriend had norovirus- last time being sick very late thursday night. Would you have him over to stay tonight?

I mean if you lived with him would you keep a wide berth?
Saying that, you don’t live together and it seems really silly to risk introducing it into your life if it’s very easily avoidable!!

No not until 72 hours so late Sunday night/Monday morning.

What’s the difference?

Can trigger reactive arthritis, ME or multiple other conditions .

smallsilvercloud · 09/11/2024 18:05

I'd leave a week, wouldn't chance it

Lovemusic82 · 09/11/2024 18:05

I would probably wait at least 3 days after he was last unwell. I have a phobia of vomit so I would happily wait a week 😬.

SaveMeFromMyBoobs · 10/11/2024 00:24

So many comments of leave it a week ... I wonder how many of these people would keep their kids off school a full week after a tummy bug 🤔

baklavagoddess · 11/11/2024 21:17

Irony that I commented on this post Saturday evening and 4 hours later got norovirus 😂

gamerchick · 11/11/2024 21:50

So contagious you can catch it off a thread Grin

Sorry to hear that man. Noro is one bug that gives me the horrors. Genius little bug the way it works, but brutal. Hope you feel better.

Oh no really? How bad was it?

surprisingly I have escaped it. I seen my boyfriend Thursday morning when he left for work around 9 and he was first sick at 10.30am. We had a few kisses just before he left but I’ve been fine…hopefully I haven’t spoken too soon

Oh and it was definitely a bug because it had swept round his family

@Boindsytin I'm glad you haven't caught it. It's been horrendous I'd actually rather give birth 10 times than have noro again!

Thanks me too. Just shows it must be contagious just when the vomitting starts
