Ehcp for EBSA

Hi all
New to mums net even though mine are now 20 and 13! We are in the process of applying for an ehcp for my Dd, I believe she has EBSA as does her school. She has always struggled with attendance but worked hard to get into a grammar school and did well in year 7 (76% attendance) but absolutely crashed in year 8 Sept 2023. We managed to secure alternative provision in a medical school via section 19 but she was stil unable to attend, we are due to try online learning from the same provision next week.
So today the Educational psychologist did a home visit and dd did amazing! She dearly wants to go back to her original school and is stil on roll, she desperately misses her friends and hates being stuck at home. The Educational psychologist suggested something called gradual exposure to slowly get her back into school. Initially starting with getting her to see people in the home and then outside of it before even thinking about actual school. My question is how should this look in terms of her EHCP? I want to get it right but am unsure and don't want to miss anything. I know it's not me that will be writing it but I want to be prepared for when the draft (hopwfully) comes through..... thankbyounif you've got this far and for any advise xx

If DD can’t attend school, you will need an EOTAS/EOTIS package. The ed psych report should be highlighting needs, provision. That along with other evidence gathered, such as that from OT, SALT, clinical psychologist, during the EHCNA process should inform the provision in the EHCP.

EOTAS packages are completely bespoke to the individual’s needs. What does DD enjoy doing?

Think about:
Tuition - online or F2F. 1:1 or group. What subjects? Or even not academic tuition.
Therapies - e.g. animal-assisted therapy, CBT, OT (including sensory OT, SALT, art therapy…
Exercise/sport - exercise equipment for home, a PT who will come to the house, online dance class... As DD feels more able to leave the house, horse riding, swimming, tennis…
Cooking lessons/music lessons/chess lessons
Mentor - online or in person. If DD enjoys gaming, look at Mindjam. As DD is more able to leave the house, accessing the community.
Socialising - this could be unstructured with a budget for e.g. gaming online or as DD feels more able, it could be at structured groups such as a drama group or Scouts or less structured but out of the house with trips out to the shop or cafe or...
As DD feels more able to leave the house, things like a care farm or gaming AP.

Then move to thinking about equipment/resources/memberships/subscriptions (including subscription boxes like Spectrum Space boxes where suitable) and professional time.
