BIAB at home?

Hi, trying to help DD with nail biting (the awful tasting stuff doesn't help). BIAB helped but it is too expensive where we live. Is it possible to do yourself and which set is best? We have to stick to a budget but I have seen a good UV light for €12 so lookig for what else I would been to build the actual nail.

TIA!

Bad idea, how sets are terrible and will do more harm than good!

I use these and they give my nail the chance to grow underneath amzn.eu/d/fTdOd2u

It’s not worth the damage you could cause to your nails unless you really know what you are doing.
Good products would cost you £100s.

How old is she? I do my own but have been doing so for years and have spent a lot of money on good kit over the years. I definitely wouldn't be going near anything that only costs €12 for the lamp

Thank you! So these could work for nail biters? Are they strong?

She is 13. She also picks at her skin and with the BIAB she stopped completely. But is costs a fortune on a monthly basis where we live so it was a one off for us.

As an former nail biter I found what helped was a simple nail file and cuticle oil. File the nails so there are no edges anywhere and oil the cuticle up so there is no skin loose anywhere. That was what stopped me. Even now 20 years on I need to keep nails well filed if I don't have my nails done.
