Looking for diet advice

I'm currently just in the obese category. Been trying to lose weight for a while but keep sabotaging the diet. My exercise levels are really good, I enjoy it but obviously diet is the most important for weight loss.

I suffer from quite bad bloating so on work days I tend not to eat anything (I know not great, especially as I have a physical job!) But then I'm starving and just go for quick and easy in the evening and tend to over eat. I have a lot of stress in my life and constantly busy and just finding it quite overwhelming to plan what to eat and when and calm the bloating at work (I think some of this may be stress/anxiety related aswel). I would love some help and an example of maybe a weeks meals? About 10 years ago I lost a lot of weight doing low card but I just can't seem to get back into it.

I work 5 days a week. I do a workout at 6am, get the kids off to school, leave for work at 9am, lunch break at 2pm, home for 7.30pm. How would everyone plan their diet?

This is quite tricky to answer! Do you know what’s causing the bloating if it’s not diet related? Besides that it sounds like you know what the concerning factor is and are capable of navigating it yourself - it’s just that what everyone struggles with, eating cleaning and staying disciplined with it 🫠

I think the key is planning and routine.

I use my fitness pal to track what I am eating but I tend to eat fruit for breakfast then a small lunch.

Then try and have a reasonably protein heavy dinner.

I also make sure to allow enough calories for a snack like a small bar of chocolate.

I recently lost 9lb in 10 weeks by following this approach if that helps (I was aiming for 1lb per week).
