Uneven lip filler results ?!

I got lip filler for the first time last Monday

My right side was much more swollen than my left, it’s come down a lot but it’s still present.

I only got 0.25ml of Juvederm.

Any experience with this??

You need to leave then at least 14 days (sometimes longer) to settle.
However from what you have written “I asked her to stop” … perhaps this didn’t give her the opportunity to even them up? Or perhaps she could see the shock on your face and mutually decided to just stop there.

0.25 is so tiny, I wouldn’t even think there would be much chance- so I think this is swelling,

I'd go to a proper practioner and get them redone

@AlwaysGinPlease Because she had it done about five minutes ago and it's all in one place. It's not migrated.

Well it's outside of the vermilion border!

@AlwaysGinPlease Don't disagree with that, no. Risky place to inject as it's more prone to unnatural results, but she didn't have much to work with.

I also agree it sounds like she was told to stop - but as a good practitioner she should have explained, if I stop now, you're gonna have a wonky lip.

How's it looking now?

How's it looking now?

Hey, very much the same. I’ve had it looked at and unfortunately been advised I have been injected with a poor technique and Im getting them dissolved next week

That's a shame but glad it's getting sorted.

Hi everyone,
I recently got lip filler from my friend, who is just starting out. I'm her second client (besides her mum), and I trusted her with my lips. My experience this time was very different from my previous one with another practitioner.
The first time, I had 0.8ml, and it looked great, but it fully settled back to my natural lips after it went down. This time, I went for 1ml with my friend. I understand that after the initial swelling from Monday, it’s now Day 7, and the result is quite different.
I’m not entirely happy with the way they look; they seem very “ducky.” My neighbor, who’s a nurse, took a look on Friday and immediately noticed a lot of superficial filler. She mentioned it might need dissolving or could potentially be “pricked and squeezed out” because it's so close to the surface. A few other people who’ve had fillers also commented that mine look lumpy and not quite right.
I’ve told my friend about the lumps and hardness, especially the white spots, and she advised me to wait two weeks. However, from what I’ve read online, Day 7 is often when you see the final result. The bottom left side has gone down and looks better, but the top still looks quite ducky.
I’d really appreciate any advice or thoughts on what I should do. I’ve attached pictures for reference. I do want to support my friend, but I’m unsure if this will improve or if I should consider some adjustments. Thanks in advance!
