DLA renewal

I get HRC for my child and the dla ends on at the end of June 2025. I should be getting the renewal pack 20 weeks before it ends. If I fill it in and send it off say beginning of January 2025 and they decide she need MCR or LCR would I get my HRC until the end of June or will payments be reduced from when they receive the form in Jan 2025?

I think the change of rate would happen at the end of your reward and the renewal will start on the altered care, as far as I am aware x

When I did my renewal we went up for middle to high, it changed immediately

By Immediately do you mean before your old claim ended? If so then I guess the same would apply if it was to go down in care rates? Anyone had dla go down when renewed could share their experience please.

Changes take effect immediately. If the level of need has reduced, that's a change that should be reported not left until review so it will be applied as soon as it is known.

So would that mean there could be an overpayment that I would have to pay back? It could be the case it stays the same, I'm checking what would happen and other people's.experiences.

I need help please my child's DLA award has been reduced from Higher rate care to Lower rate care and low mobility rate. I have sent so much evidence including CAMHS, SCHOOL REPORT, HOUSING ETC. I raised a concern with the DM who should contact me (I'm trying to avoid going through an MR as long waiting times) how can I prove the supersession isn't legal?
