Quiz help

I need input! I'm drafting a quiz for next year (I know!) and would like to do a round using times, ideally from book titles.
So far the only one I can think of is the 4.50 from Paddington

Please spam me with any you can think of. Hours and minutes as words are also fine in the title at this stage.

<Wondering why I have chosen to do this>

Me neither!

Just 1984 but I don't think that counts,

I think the opening line to 1984 is something like "It was a cold, dark day in autumn as the clocks struck 13, " which might work as a first line rather than a book title.

SnoopysHoose · 31/10/2024 20:39

That's a difficult round, we've just had a charity quiz and some of the rounds were Collective names for animals, celebs real names, capital cities.

Isthiscorrect · 31/10/2024 20:45

Google clock with book titles for the time. There's loads of titles. We used to do this for the library at school.
Good luck it will fun.

This is the sort of thing I'm after! I realise I've made it difficult for myself

Yes, there will be a first lines round too, so shall bookmark this one, thanks.

Collective names is a great idea - shall give that some consideration.

Another one which might do: "Time of the Ghost" by Diana Wynne Jones

Could you maybe expand it so it's asking questions which involve a specific time in the plot?

Eg in what book does a character have to be at kings Cross at 11am sharp to catch the train to school?
