Emergency doctors or wait two weeks?

I have pain that is waking me early in the morning, is always there and painkillers are not touching it. But ... it's not stopping me do day to day things.

I've had it on and off for a few months but not as bad as this. I saw the doctor about it before who did initial tests which all came back fine.

I have an appointment in two weeks.

If you were triaging me would you say "wait two weeks" or "come in today"?

I don't want to waste an emergency appointment someone else needs, but I am in pain. What would you do?

I’d say ring and let them triage you.

If you are in the UK and have an appointment with a specialist in two weeks then you would be wasting your time trying to seek an earlier appointment via 111 or A&E.
A&E are unlikely to carry out blood tests, scans or investigations for a chronic condition which has already been referred.
Even if it is something serious you will still enter the two week referral process via A&E.
If the pain isn’t responding to painkillers, try 111 or see your GP.

Depends on where the pain is. If it was in a limb, I'd wait and see doctor. If it was in my chest, I wouldn't wait. If you're unsure, try 111 and take their advice.

If OP has had a sudden deterioration and has now said she’s struggled to pee. She would receive a scan immediately to rule out imminent paralysis
