We're off for a wander of Ikea, using the train & tram to get there.

My only definite purchase is wrapping paper, and a stop off for food 😋

What else do I need?

Anything I buy must fit in either a standard tote, or one of the bigger bags for life like they have behind the tills in Poundland...and not be too heavy because I want to stop off at Meadowhall on the way back to pick up a Christmas present.

The tins of gingerbread thins are in store now 🥰🤤

I also like these half-brush bottle brushes (the brush part is on one side / half only, not very clear from the picture) so they go very easily into glass milk bottles etc.

Oh gosh I’m going tomorrow to get two bookcases.
my husband was ment to be coming too to help carry them but now he’s working (very convenient if you ask me )

Uppfylld cheese grater with the container underneath, 2 different graters and a lid... Fab ! Bevara Sealing clips. Washing up brush, tea lights. I love their Koncis roasting tins. Skadis peg board. Those little fabric fold up boxes for organising drawers.

🤣 4 rolls of wrapping paper, scrubby brush thing you put washing up liquid in and one of the sucker brushes, lint roller refills, picture frame, 2 small candles (tiny 50p one because I like the glass) - are their candles any good?

Dd1 got a soft toy cat, 2 decided not to this time. Gingerbread rolls x 2, gingerbread house kit, pastry brush, the decorations and the soft toy pictured. Dd1 also chucked him in 🤣

Ooh and scissors, and napkins. Oh and random sweets but no one chucked the Swedish Fish in the basket and I thought they had.

Think that's it.

No food 😥 dd2 felt sick so we speed walked the end to get to fresh air.

I'm regretting not picking up four of the Eklatera jars for the kitchen. Should have gone back for them obviously have to go back! For them and the tin of gingerbread thins.

I always buy the plugs with space for three USB cables. Have them at home and a couple stored in suitcase for when travelling.

Ooh yes, loved these Vinterfint cushion covers but not keen on the feel of them or would have brought three of them home too!

Aaaand, I liked these light shades but they're oos & I wasn't sure if I'd be able to use them on a ceiling light fitting 🤔 so need to go back for those or find online.

H and I always come out of IKEA with the rage. We never make it round without having an argument. We are the same putting the shit together.

Obvs the daim bars and cinnamon rolls and a map of the store if poss or am I the only one that gets lost and cannot find the exit??!!

Ikea haven’t sold the bags of Daim bars for months now. Too much palm oil, apparently

They do collapsable coffee cups which are great (and much cheaper than others in shops) when travelling/going to work / my kid uses for school - once used, it collapses and is nice and small to put in bag
