Dd wants to contact her father.

Dd is 14 she's never seen her father. When i was pregnant he said she's not his. Said he didn't want to know. About a year ago dd said she wanted to contact him. I was not sure how to manage it . I sent him a message this time last year . I did not put any detail because I just didn't know what to say. So I just said hi please could you contact me when you see this thank you . There was never a reply.

Dd has brought it up tonight. She said she sent him a friend request. Which she thinks he declined. And she sent a message that just said hi.

Her message may have gone in his other messages if they are not already friends on FB - He may not have seen it, and if he had a random friend request off a young girl he may have just dismissed it not knowing who she was.

I would message him and say that his daughter is trying to get in touch and wants to meet you. I am not keen on the idea but she is 14 and has a mind of her own. She has sent you a message on here but no response. If the message has gone into your message requests, please can you respond to her or if you have just ignored her message can you please respond. If you do not want to get to know her or meet her, you need to let her know either way. And if you don't, well that's your loss not hers.
