Inverness is further north than Barra. My Google maps app is working overtime on this thread!

The East-West cutoff is the international date line.

And Barra is further West than Holyhead.

UK: Unst, Shetland
South: I’ve been to Jersey but that’s not technically part of the UK, so I suppose Lizard Point
East: Ness Point, Lowestoft
West: St Kilda, which is west of the Outer Hebrides and I think further west than the westernmost point of Northern Ireland.

Globally:

North: Grimsay, Iceland - an island which sits just on the Arctic Circle
South: Key West
East: Moscow
West: Vancouver

Starting from the Greenwich meridian line and ending at the international date line. No restrictions on direction of travel.

•North, John O’Groats in U.K. or Stockholm internationally
•South, Australia

West/East - harder to say because if you keep going west you end up in thr east and vice versa, but let’s say New Zealand to thr east and west coast of Canada/America for the west.
