C-section recovery gift ideas?

My sister just had an emergency section, both are well thankfully😄

I was wondering, those of you who had c sections, what was an absolute must have during your recovery? I want to put her a little gift hamper together. I think a Stanley cup may be a good starting point?

Lovely snacks that are easy to eat with one hand.
Comfy PJs for nursing (high waisted to go over the scar)
Fridamom sell various scar and support products for post section.
A small fan for in the hospital.

Definitely high waisted knickers!
Ask her whether her legs are swollen - mine were and none of my shoes fit! So maybe some nice slippers a size larger than her usual.
Some cotton circular pads so she can clean and dry her wound.

Yes to water bottle! Fybogel sachets. Pre made meals. Disposable high waisted pants. A caddy filled with snacks/nappies/wipes she can move around with her. Comfy pjs.

Chocolate!

A thermal mug would've been good.

Nice hand cream, lip balm and shower gel. My little Coco does a lovely face mist which was especially good in the early days when you've little time for skincare.

My sil gave me 365 Days of Self-Care for New Mums by Zeena Moolla which was appreciated.

Can't think of anything specifically c section related - just needed time and lots of paracetamol!

A really long phone charger wire.
nice biscuits / easy things to snack on.

Not a Stanley cup because they don’t seal and if you knock a full one over it’s a nightmare!. But a water bottle and/or thermal flask (my favourite is Klean Kanteen, contigo are very popular) is definitely a good idea.
