Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World

Got a two-day break booked during half term (kids age 3.5 and almost 6) and I’ve downloaded the app and have done lots of research on rides I think they might like, etc but am looking for any hints/tips from previous visitors please.

We’ll take a picnic for day one, but probably get something at the park on day two - anywhere to avoid, or that you’d recommend?

Also, anywhere close to the park you’d recommend for dinner on the way to our accommodation please?

Weather looking ok so far - we’ll bring waterproofs just in case!

Thanks in advance for any gems you’re able to share x

Get there early and head straight to Peppa pig world.
paultons also has nice small rides for the 3 year old it’s not just bigger rides. Great playbook in route 66 area. There is lots to do!
Park food is fine but very expensive so a picnic and snacks is a good idea 👍

Loads to do, loads of play areas etc and the soft play in Peppa pig world kept DD busy for ages. Although differently from PP I've always done the rest of the park in the morning and PP in the afternoon, queues seem to be shorter. I've been three times as we live about 40 mins away

Queues in Peppa Pig World can be long. As you have 2 of different ages and potentially quite different interests/tolerances for waiting, I’d consider splitting up for part of the day (assuming you have 2 adults with you) and then come back together to do joint things.

I’ll be totally honest, having been at toddler age and also with a primary age one, I personally would struggle to fill 2 days there. I know they often do the breaks with the second day free, but I’d maybe make the second day about just doing your very favourite things from day 1 and then leaving midday and going somewhere different. Just get out and have a romp and picnic in the New Forest. Depending which way you are heading home, find something fun to do halfway.

Definitely take a picnic and snacks. I found the food underwhelming and expensive.

Food is great there. Main restaurant by entrance for proper nice meals. We always have a sandwich on arrival and go all the rides at lunch time, then have late hot meal, 3-4ish

the dinosaur roller coaster is great

Height wise if the littles are over 90cm they can go on tonnes. Do not go to peppa pig world first thing. It's sooooo busy. If you head over at lunch time and again an hour or two before it shuts you'll get so many more rides in.

We usually go left when we go into the park, head to the dinosaur area and all the bits that way.

We go twice a year and usually for two days a time, it's such a lovely park and the driving school is great too!
