I have a magimix bought for us 26 years ago that I use almost every day. Ditto a Le Creuset pot bought in France pre-kids, so must be over 26 years old.

My grandmas potato peeler - must be 50 years old!

Butter knives, in use for toast most days, probably 90 years old. Friends have a fridge that's 65.

I also own some fab pyrex casseroles in different colours and sizes. Love them.

And me! The patterned jockey-cap bowls are lovely.

My oven. It came with the house but it's not fitted. When we got a new washing machine, we had to call for the warranty (not extended but you got a year for free if you registered... probably still a scam) and they asked if we had anything else that could be put on. I said the ovens quite old and gave the make (creda) and model and she said that it wouldn't be covered as it was well over 25 years old. That was maybe 7 years ago and it's still going strong.

I have a spoon with a daffodil on the handle that was part of a set I had when I was about 5 (in 1960). The knife and fork have been lost long since.

The Creda Carefree is the oven that simply won’t quit.

My mum has her old stand mixer that she got for her 15th birthday, it still works now and she is 63!

My in laws' old microwave, circa 1990. And their fridge, probably the same age. They still work! Oddly freezers don't last nearly as long.

I wanted my mum's old microwave from 1985ish - the first one available in our town, but it finally died when she had to move it to put a new kitchen in, and the fitters bashed it. It was huge. It once cooked our Christmas turkey.

Plus a ton of my parents and in laws old crockery, glassware from charity shops and car boots etc. some if that is Victorian. I don't know if I can count the Georgian glasses we found though: we definitely don't use them! They're safely in a cabinet.

I still use all the crockery I received as wedding gifts 30 years ago, it was from BHS.

A large battered metal spoon that was issued to my grandfather when he was in the trenches during the First World War.

Love these threads!!! I have a saucepan that my DM bought before she moved abroad in 1978. Apart from needing to tighten the handle every few years it's needed no TLC, it just keeps on going (and it's been abused and then some)! Our LeCreuset is 12 years old and showing no signs of wear! Also have some vegetable knives that are at least 10 years old (tried to replace them but they changed the style and the new ones are so rubbish they might as well be disposable!)

Haven't been married long enough to have particularly long-lived wedding gifts, but I am constantly surprised that the coffee machine is still going! It was entry-mid level when it was gifted to us and is now in its ninth year!
