Having to pay for (extortionate) delivery so want to make sure I make the most of it.

Have all the big items sorted but what else do I need?

They have a pet range now.

It’s cute.

Spaceracers · 19/10/2024 22:35

Meatballs

BattedAnEyebrow · 19/10/2024 22:39

Washing up brush with suction cup.
Over the door hook
Glass freezer containers for leftovers
Plant
Christmas wrapping paper
Red candles for Christmas
Suction soap dish

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 19/10/2024 22:42

Oooooo, you need a mini greenhouse!

DecafDodger · 19/10/2024 22:42

oh yes the xmas scented candles are delicious

Crunchymum · 19/10/2024 23:06

I hadn't even thought about candles!!

I have 3 socktopus' (socktopusses / socktopi?) already but we do have a lot of socks.

Wrapping paper is a good shout too.

Mini greenhouse sounds fabulous.

I will be adding it all to my cart.

The frozen pancakes and cinnamon rolls stock up with them for Christmas

Owmyelbow · 19/10/2024 23:13

I like their freezer bags

Pumpkittenspice · 19/10/2024 23:19

I was going to say a Socktopus, until you posted that you already have multiple.

I always get at least one candle from IKEA every time I go. The phone holder that looks like a chair, I use mine all of the time! Their waste bins are only £1.50, but very sturdy. Also the mini greenhouses, they’re fab!

Of course, the food and snacks.

Pumpkittenspice · 19/10/2024 23:27

Oh, sealing clips too. They’re so handy!

Pedant of the week warning

Soctopusses would be the correct plural as it is Greek based not Latin based.

Returning to English mode in which my grammar is more wayward.

Ikea 365+ paring knives have been invaluable and still super sharp after 2 years of use and no sharpening. Not tried the larger one but might do if I can get to Ikea at some stage.

Toftlund rug for cold mornings and warn feet.

To supplement @MarkingBad, I believe you can also use socktopodes.

Anyhoo, chicken meatballs, plastic bags, scissors, and Christmas stuff. And pickled herrings if they will deliver those. And the nice mustard sauce that goes with smoked salmon. And the giant round crispbreads. Oh, and some of those nice ginger biscuits.

I need to go to IKEA.

Good point, indeed you can!

I now have a basket full of stuff we don't need. I'm impressed with myself.

Sadly food items (meatballs / pancakes) aren't available for delivery.

This tuppaware. It's bloody brilliant. Tight lids and doesn't stain (even after spagbol storage).

There's two Lunchbox size tubs which are used for packed lunches, lots of small ones which get used for snacks of raisins, nuts etc then the tall ones which are fantastic for food storage in the fridge or freezer.

The freezer clips and the freezer bags are both excellent.

You probably already have a grater but it took me AGES to find one that didn't have the annoying lemon rind lumps taking up one of the big sides of it, and instead had big grater and small grater holes. Anyway, the one I eventually found was from IKEA:

IDEALISK grater, stainless steel - IKEA

IDEALISK grater, stainless steel With this grater in stainless steel you can both slice potatoes and grate carrots or cheese. All you need to do is choose the side to use. And after you’re finished, the dishwasher can clean it for you.
