This is for my son he's 2 and half years old and has a thing for light switches and lights I must admit he's driving me insane flicking them on and off 😅 my neighbors must think I'm trying to create a disco!

Anyways I found switch boards for kids which I think will work but Is there anything else that could deter him away from my actual light switches other than switch boards? He's already popped a bulb 🫣, I'm very scared he's going to electricute himself, even though I take the plug out the sockets he can put them in, I'm not winning help?

You can get covers to put on the switches so he cant press it

We've looked into it and it's a possibility we will be trying them out but I do want him to have something to do that relates to switching on and off as it seems it's his obsession.

A fidget cube. I think you get larger ones. Try Smyths or Amazon.

One of mine is autistic and was obsessed with mechanisms, switches and suchlike. When he was 2 my dad's Christmas present to him was a big box of locks - bike locks, padlocks, lockable mini boxes. He loved it and it kept him quiet for hours!

Also torches. He had a box full of cheapo torches, he'd sit there switching them on and off and it really calmed him down.

Wow that sounds awesome, my two year old loves tape measures as well, I might have a look in my partners shed see if there's a spare padlock I could try him out with
