Anne of Green Gables. Hours and hours of lovely drama!

What kind of books do you normaly like ?
Drama , humour, detective ( modern Or old? ) , travel , romance supernatural etc.
I flit between supernatural, esp vampire type and detective but if I want something lighter / funny bill bryson and Gerald durral are high on my list.

Michael Palin travel books - lovely voice and gentle stories

It's definitely all about the narrator, I find American narrated ones awful I dont know whether they are real voices or AI but it sucks any of the oomph out of it for me

Imelda Staunton and Celia Imrie are fab narrators though as is Stephen Fry and David Mitchell

Thursday murder club books are read by Lesley Manville then Fiona Shaw. I listened on BorrowBox via library. They are easy and fun.

I enjoyed the Graham Norton books as his voice is so soothing.

Not a book but Cabin Pressure is available on Audible. Instant sunshine!

Not books, but I recommend BBC Sounds for a wide choice of drama

Depends on what you're into! I'm usually into classics and non fiction but currently listening to Dungeon Crawler Carl series and I LOVE THEM. The narrator is the best I've ever listened to. I'm obsessed.

Do not, repeat DO NOT, get Bob Mortimer reading his Satsuma Complex book. Worst thing ever.

Martin Jarvis reading Just William

Michael Holden and Richard Briers doing Jeeves and Wooster.

Just a fantastic experience.
