What item in your house is broken ?

A while back I had a thread on what is broken or needed in your house that everyone just thinks is normal now. I wondered if anyone fixed anything yet.
I thought of this because our tumble drier handle is broken and we have been opening it with a butter knife for about 9 months now. It's just become normal. Our toilet only flushes once every 10 minutes but we just all put up with it.
The tumble drier would be relatively low cost to fix but we just don't get round to it
I think my original thing I posted about was a broken Pyrex jug ( where the lip is chipped and it doesn't pour cleanly ) Still got it but I do have a new smaller one that's too small so I keep the broken one still!
Anyway. Before anyone suggests i am a journalist , I'm really not. Just wondering at my life and why I haven't fixed the easy ish things yet! Sunday musings I guess.

I have a gas cooker and dp broke the igniter one night 5 years ago so you have to light it from inside with a long kitchen lighter, oh and the grill doesn't work and one of the knobs for the job keeps falling off! I desperately want a new one but am saving up after just buying a new fridge freezer, tumble dryer and washing machine, as I want built in so require worktops, housing units etc. It's all money, money, money!

Not much in my place as I try to get things done but as a child / teenager.

TV - the VCR button had to be held in with tape.

Freezer the seal was broken so again duct tape used to keep it closed.

There was no light in the toilet for ages until a visitor decided to take the bulb
from my room to change it, I then was without a light in my bedroom for about a year.

My mum learned to drive in her 40's, but she didn't learn very well so was always dinging or scraping her car, the bumper was held on with, even more tape.

My parents decided to pain the living room so put masking tape on the windows. They they lost their enthusiasm so didn't finish until 6 weeks later, masking tape is not intended to pull off after 6 months.

I'm sure there is more, and not all of it involved tape.
