Drinkable Champagne for DS's18th

Looking for an easy drinking, not too dry champagne, but Prosecco or cava.

Not sure if I've ever bought a bottle of "real" champagne so not sure which one might suit.

I second the Majestic suggestion. If we are going for a single bottle we tend to get Taittinger but if we're getting a few bottles in we usually buy Bredon from Waitrose. There is often an offer on that helps bring the cost down. I'm not a fan of Prosecco unless it is for Aperol or Campari Spritz . Cava can be nice and I like Nyetimber or Cremant de Bourgogne or Loire as an alternative.

Do you mean Chapel Down? I don't like that at all but I do like Nyetimber. Also too expensive and wasted on 18 year olds!

I did, thank you! My sister bought us some for an anniversary present and I thought it was lovely.

We like the Nicholas Feuillatte from Sainsbury’s. I try and buy some before Xmas when they have offers on.

For the rest of the time, we drink Cava.

Laurent Perrier is the only champagne for me!

Chapel Down is a brilliant idea.
We usually have it on Christmas Day.

Discovered it after a day's tour of the vineyard in Tenterden.

It's delicious!
