Where to buy non wormy fish?

I’ve recently noticed that nearly all salmon & cod I bought has worms in them. It’s ok to eat it once cooked I assume but really puts me off. I tried Tesco, Morrisons & Waitrose. Where do you get your fish from and does it have worms?

Worms in fish are common. They are parasitic and although they are called Cod Worms they are also common in haddock and salmon.

I've only encountered one once, but they are harmless and killed by cooking.

You have probably eaten worse.

Yeah, I know you’re right but really puts me off fish 😅

It is off putting. I just threw the fish away, when it happened. I could not bear to keep it in my fridge to take it back. I have not let it put me off though. I just really adore fish, and seafood in general, so nothing will get in the way of that.
