Help! What shall I do on Saturday?

First world problem alert. Husband has been working in other countries a lot and I've taken on the load in terms of our young DC and managing at home, plus work etc. He's back today and says he'll take DC out for the day tomorrow so I can have some me time. But I don't know what to do!!

In a way I would prefer a weekday off work as I could go for a run or a walk in the park and get some headspace. As it's a Saturday everywhere will be busy and full of families (big London royal park) and I just know I'll feel like I miss my DC!

Silly I know! What should I do for myself on Saturday?

Book a spa day. But if he’s been away a lot why don’t you have a family day out???

Go to the theatre? Or an exhibition?

If you will miss the kids have a family day out? Failing that it depends what you like, I'd want to walk around the shops, some may want to stay home and relax. Spa day if you want to go all out though!

Agree. If my husband had been away all that time I'd be desperate for some family time.

Can you afford to go to aire ancient baths? I've never been but it looks amazing.

If you don't want a day for yourself, have a family day out but make him responsible for organising it all and managing the kids whilst you are out, so you can relax and just done the fun bits.

Yes that's an idea! Plus he can do bedtime for a change!
