Just that, really.

The smell of sunscreen and the sound of Moroccan tea being poured (by tradition you pour it high so it makes a sound) remind me of mine.

The smell uncream reminds me of the drought in 76 (I think it was 76). The smell of the school soap and paper towels takes me right back to primary school.
The song Save All Your Kisses for me brings back listening to Junior Choice on the radio with my Mum.

That should say the smell of suncream!

Christmas was the smell of those dissolvable bath oils the size of marbles.

And the theme music from the Oneidon Line on Sunday night TV.

Nivea, impulse (gypsy) and hairspray. I don’t have many found memories of my mother, but I do remember watching her and helping get ready every weekend, the bedroom full of hairspray and impulse, it strangely dose make me feel good when I smell it, even if our relationship wasn’t and never will be nice.

The smell of original chapstick reminds me of a very specific memory of winter when it snowed and my mum had a pair of (heeled!) Boots that only came out in really bad weather. The zip was broken and she used to put an envelope inside. (And she made us wear lip salve - I'm not sure if it was reserved for only when it snowed, but that's the memory it evokes)

Also my grandparents died either before I was born or when I was a toddler, but the smell of tobacco from a tin, reminds me of the times we spent with an old friend of my parents who we called grandpa.

Mainly carbolic soap (Dad). Old Spice (Dad too). I laugh at how stupid I was - some of his stuff was (I presume now) for using with an electric razor. I used to drop a little of his smellies in my bath but worry I would get electrocuted though! Did not stop me and no one mentioned that I had used his stuff!

Sounds? My brother and I would sing the current songs loudly on buses. Trouble is we mostly got the lyrics wrong! I still cringe when I used to lustily sing out I love you peanut face a bit my love sang by Sandi Shaw or perhaps not those particular lyrics!!
